Bucket seat tracks for a 73 Torino

I recently purchased a set of bucket seats for my 73 Torino Sport. They are in great shape, however they are missing the tracks and my car doesn't have any either. I bought the car with someone's idea of "custom" seat tracks. They need to go. If anyone has a set for sale I would be very interested.

Re: Bucket seat tracks for a 73 Torino

You can grab tracks out of almost any 70's passenger car. Even those with bench seats, of course you'll need to find two different cars with bench seats to give you the 4 tracks you'll need.

For example, the seat tracks I used here (see attached pic) were from some 70's Lincoln with a bench seat that I found at the wrecker. I didn't use factory bucket seats but these tracks would have bolted right up to those.

The whole article is here:

Good luck.

Yep, then go to Lowes and get some "U" nuts to insert into the floor to screw bolts in.

These:
EFC International | self retaining nuts, U nuts, J nuts, panel fasteners, speed nuts, threaded inserts, weld nuts, multi-threaded spring steel fasteners, cage nuts, and nut retainers

I think you'll need 3/8"x16...IIRC

Then you'll be good to go.
