Talking '72 sport, 514, 5 speed, $39,5k. You KNOW you want it.

I could not help myself. I have pics of this car saved on my computer.
I damn near drooled on it when it showed up here magically last summer.

Then, I found it for sale, locally. Great, I seem to be flat broke. And never a bank truck that has the doors fly open in front of me with bags of money that fall out.

See for yourself.

I know this car has been talked about a bit, and it was once on ebay, somewhere from the state of Oregon.
Anyone have an idea of the guy who did the body on this one?

Damn that thing is niiiiiice. I especially like the exhaust cut outs on the rear end. But for $39.5k? Well, if he gets it then more power to him. I wish my paint looked that deep....

I know, trust me, in person, who ever did this car it was one of two things:
Anal retentive to the 9th degree, or a true labor of love.
All the bolts were replated zinc, stuff on that car was done right, one thing that caught my ey was the modifucation to the lower control arm to lower the car but yet still run a full spring.
That body is flawless, interior is mint, and the modified 8k factory looking tack was a truly cool item.
Thing isn't super loud, from what I recall.

Not that you could build it for less, but those just aren't big $$ cars. IMO

All a matter of perspective.
If I had the cash laying around, I would not think twice about that car, period.
I am biased towards them to begin with though, and honestly as much as I like Mustangs, they at times frankly bore the hell out of me anymore...I grew up around early - mid 70's Torinos, it's my thing, er, crack addiction. LOL

I'd be happy if I can get mine to look even half that nice. That car is pure sex!
