Got a notice on a 76 gran 4 door

Hey guys...I sort of am torn on this one.
I got an email from a local guy who picked up a clean 4 door from a tow lot.
People around here know I am into Torinos, and hence I get the heads up occasionally.

No title deal; the car was going to be crushed.

I am waiting for word back to go inspect the car some time this week.

There appears to be alot of good parts worth saving off the car.
I am thinking of stripping the car bare as there is not a title and Nebraska is a joke on getting the title {ask me, I know all too well from three previous cars}.
I am thinking about picking it up and taking it apart.
{and I do mean A P A R T }

Bad part is it's a running driving car that's clean, but it's a 4 door.
-shrug- I sort of hate killing a nicer car, although I have done worse before.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I imagine it would be killer, I was thinking a elcheapo 5 speed out of a 90's f250 and a 460.
I actually just got another notice on a '74 ranchero, another salvage car.

The 5 speed from a F250 wont work, the transmission is designed differently and wont fit in the tunnel. Best bet would be a TKO 500 or a 600. The 500 you can use a stock clutch.
