help

i need a new fuel cap for the 76 torino. the one on it had to be hscked away. also i noticed that the passengerside motor mount only had one bolt holding it to the block. i have been trying to put the other two in and cant get them to thread. maybe wrong bolt. maybe to small of a crampt place. trying not to pull engine. anyone know the correct size?

As far as the gas cap, any auto parts place should have the cap on hand, they were used on who knows how many different cars, only thing I am sure of is I think it should be a vented cap.

As far as the bolted on the engine mount, to get the bolts to start, what you need to do is take a floor jack, and put a 2x4 or 2x6 on the cradle, and lift the engine up just enough to take the wieght off the mounts some, and you usually can start the bolts in that way.
For the life of me, I don't recall the proper size/thread pattern bolts for the mounts though. Maybe 1/2-20, but I don't know.

I just went to Advance Auto Parts site and they list 7 different gas caps for a 76 Torino.
