Re: 1969 Torino value
But the #'s matching SCJ I linked above has been e-bayed twice and never gotten over $8,300 bucks....
And the car was FINISHED, done restored looking friggin awesome, 1,000,000% better than the garage version talked about here...
So I see no correlation to the mentioned value...

Re: 1969 Torino value
Sorry guy's really. I am just a cheap bastard....
But I am closer to the value than any tard that will pay $8K for a worn out rig needing everything...

Re: 1969 Torino value
Even 5k is too much I'm not underestimating its badassness its a sweet car but here in Tucson and Phoenix AZ all day long you can get 68 and 69 torinos CJ's or not fast back or not no more than 2,500 in that condition 2,000 seems to be the going rate and they're still hard sells.

Re: 1969 Torino value
Fe you silly rabbit . That car sucks just as much as your price judgeing . That car has a 302 and small block c-4 tranny . Not even close to a scj matching number car . I am sirprised it got that far .
Now if it had the scj and matching tranny the price would of been doubled .

Re: 1969 Torino value
From looking at the pics provided in the topic, I dont see where FE says the car is beat up. It looks pretty straight to me, and it looks like its all there under the hood too.
And like R-code said....a Falcon will never bring the same money as a SCJ Cobra will....you should have known that by now!!

Re: 1969 Torino value
Hehehe I know a Falcon won't... But why in the hell will a 4 door falcon get sold before a 2 door? It's silly...
I see 428 CJ Torino and the high prices... but I don't see them SOLD....
Anyone can ASK that much... But who's GETTING?
Plus, this car needs a lot... Rust repair, dongs adn dents, a LONG CREASE... ALl this is something you guy's would pay $8K for? You suprise me....
It's not a Drag pack 4 speed car... Tranny needs this & that...
Come on enjoy MY reality for a little while at least... It's just not worth that much...

Re: 1969 Torino value
Most of the old car hobby is following the housing and job markets right now....meaning that people just are'nt buying stuff thats not a necessity.
Just because this car or that car is'nt selling on ebay or elsewhere, does'nt mean its worthless.
Who knows why a 4 door outsold a 2 door....stranger things have happened.
As for the 428 Torino, its 40 years old...its going to have some rust and dents & dings......you dont expect something from 40 years ago that has been used for everyday transportation to be in showroom condition, do you??
