Hello all!
I have been lurking here for a few months and I just registered today. I live in Rowlett TX and I have been a muscle car nut since I was a kid. I have previously owned the following list of cars.
1968 Ford Torino Formal Roof: 351C 4V heads, 4spd. Fun car.
1970 Ford Torino GT: 351C 2V heads
1964 Pontiac Catalina
1965 Olds Starfire
1966 Olds Starfire
1965 Chevy Malibu SS 327, fuelie heads
1968 Dodge Charger
1967 Pontiac Firebird 400
1971 Chevy Chevelle Malibu

Unfortunately I do not have any of those cars anymore, but they were all fun to drive. My current project toy is another 1968 Ford Torino Formal Roof, white with Red interior, auto on the column, 302 2v. Currently this car is pretty much original, 40k on the odometer, but I am thinking like 140k. Still has the original shocks and suspension. Kinda all worn out but that will get replaced soon enough.

Well, the first thing I did was to get it running. I bought it as a "running" car but it was more like "limping." 30 minutes later and the distributor cap and coil wire (nice and corroded) she is purring like a kitten. She has a small miss, but I have changed the plugs, wires, coil etc. That will come when I finish up school and finally graduate college (took 21 years.). Well the old 14 wheels are in good shape and original, but I needed a different look so I score some 17X7 2007 Dodge Charger OEM Steel wheels and tires for $150. I just got finished putting them on. They fit purfect and fill the wheelwell nicely. I will try to get some more pics up soon. I plan on making her a weekend driver and some strip time for fun. I plan on documenting the changes in ET as we change parts. Well this is a great site and I thought I would introduce myself. Y'all take care!!!

Hi, I'm new here, too. Took me a while to get up the courage to post about my Torino, but I'm glad I did.

Here is the pic of my project/baby. It is without the 14" GT Wheels. On it are the 2007 Dodge Charger Steel wheels. The front rub a little (215/65/17, but some 50's should fix that) but the rear fit just right. I like this look. She will be Midnight Blue when I am done!
