Mdula did you put a mustangsteve brake kit on the front of yours recently? I have the front end off of mine starting the suspension rebuild. do you have any tips on that brake kit?

Spot on! Most torino owners fastback / formal / 70/71's and 72 up stick together. Its the stang guys who are sucking up all of our needed resources The over popular, over priced and worn thin little pony car takes our big blocks, disc brakes, hood scoops, rear ends etc.. etc...

Im a prod owner of a 69 MUSTANG rear 9" in mine now.

(Although I wouldnt turn down a 70 Mach I or boss )

If you like a heavier car that is not a sleeper that everybody and their third cousin 4 times removed has, then yes.. Fastback rules.

We should have a DFW Torino Club/Meet. I need to get mine Registered and Inspected...

Totally agree...thats whats cool about Torinos.....its not a Mustang which everyone in their mother has. Guys I like them both Fastbacks, and Formal Tops. If its a Torino its cool.

Re: Newbie here with a 68' GT

Would anyone be interestedin a North Texas Torino Fairlane club if I we're to get something organized? Even a mid-size / full size ford club or something.

Re: Newbie here with a 68' GT

Well I am just a "Mustang Guy" but still a North Texas resident. Congrats on the project. With all locals on here we should easily be able to get together at one of the many shows. The North Texas Mustang Club has a noce car show every m,onth at the Cracker Barrel in lewisville. (I-35 & Corp) My car is still coming back together and my son's is in the process of getting a V8 swap completed but we should both be back on the road by the end of May.

One of the nicest Torino's I have seen is also here in Denton. He used to visit this board quite a bit (GregP) search his user name and I am sure you will find some pics of his car.

Good Luck on the build.
