That's gonna be a good looking car Ape Stit - I don't think that coulda been the original engine if it's a 351M - looks like you've got a 70-71 and the M wasn't being put in until 75 as far as I know.

They stopped going in cars altogether in 79 in favor of the windsor (again) and only used them in trucks until 82. Most 400/351M's I've ever seen originally came out of a truck, as the case of my 400M/3.03 tranny : /
