Does anyone know how to fix a slow filling gas tank. I know it is a common problem on alot of fords. It takes me longer to fill my tank then to empty it.

If you can't get fuel into the tank and the pump isn't the problem ... then the only other problem could be that you can't get air out of the tank quickly enough when filling ...

That would only become evident if the pump shuts it's self off repeatedly before the thank is filled ... or so it seems to me[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Maybe a larger "air inlet" in the filler neck would help???

I cheated on the last one I had trouble with. I changed the filler neck on the tank to one that had a better vent inside. It suckes trying to fill one in the winter!
