Anyone running Pioneer speakers in their ford PU?

I"m seriously considering replacing the stock front, (for now), speakers in my 97 f150.
I (from what little research I"ve done), think they're 6 x 8"s.
Is/has anyone run the Pioneer 3 ways that wallyworld sells for like 58 bucks?

Is there a substantial improvement over the stock speakers?

(which by the way, don't really suck all that bad compared to speakers from a couple years back).

In either case, any/all info/thoughts appreciated.

I ran some cheapo speakers in my '69 &amp; pumped 750 watts to it! The Pioneers from WW are the same ones I'm getting ready to get for my '94. A friend has them in his '92 with the same set-up as me &amp; they sounded sweet in his, probably be crap for me [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]
