Tinting windows

Hi i have a 1995 Ford F-150 standard cab with aftermaket tine already installed on the windows....and i want to re move that since its faded to nearly purple and tint them with like 10%.......any one have any pointers on how hard it would be to remove it....i dont know how long its been installed.....does anyone make a kit that is already cut...i seen something like this on ebay but its for 97-2004......well that dosent work for me.......please help!!!!!

Removing the tint is fairly easy. Just grab a corner of it with a razor and pull it off. It will leave a film of glue on the window. Get some glass cleaner and soak it down the carefully scrape off the glue with the razor blade.
I have'nt heard of any precut window tint but it would'nt surprise me. Window tinting is'nt hard to do on a flat window like a side window. It does get more difficult on curved back windows though

o wow i didnt think just glass cleaner would remove the glue.....any certain type of cleaner..

CDEAL is right. soak your window with a goog ammonia (sp) window cleaner. I usea window cleaner, a squeege and the Sunday Mercury news to clean mine.
