Opinion on \'70 Ranchero.....

WooHOO! found one!.

It's complete except for the grill. Everything else is there. No rust except where the paint is scratched thru, No cancer. Couple of dents that will easily pop out. 351C/C4, been parked for 3 years & the driveway under it looks like the aftermath Exxon Valdez (altho it did fire right up, sounded like crap). The hood hinges are both broken
Basically needs engine/tranny rebuild, paint & upholstery.
The price seems fair: $1000.ono.....

What ya think? (wife is having a coniption fit as she thinks 4 cars & a Dually is more than enough...)

TOUCHDOWN!!

Wife saw sense!! (thats a first)

AND!! I called & it's still available.

All I have to do is get rid of that hulking great '69 Mercury Monterey sat in the driveway & I'll be the proud(?) owner of that '70 Ranchero. If I don't get any calls on it by noon tomorrow it's getting crushed & to hell with the 390/C6/9in rear sat in it..

Been parked since Oct '02. Needs fuel pump fitted & it should drive once the battery is charged up (& possibly flush the carb out)
