Duraspark VS MSD

I just bought a 65 f100. I bought the truck with out an engine and transmission, and am going to be swapping the 5.0 and c6 out of my totaled 81 stepside into them. I still have my totaled truck for parts and am wonering if I should swap the stock duraspark over or just upgrade to msd while I'm swapping. By the way the motor is orgianly from an 89 mustang, it now has a carb and a b303 cam. I don't know how much I'd gain form the msd, but either way I will have to custom wire the ignition to work in the 65. Oh, and if any one has swapped a 302 into one of these before I'd also like to know if headers for the 68 and up with 302 will work.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Stay with the Duraspark, far cheaper and just as reliable.

I'd stay with the Duraspark for now. They work fine, but if you start getting serious the stock Ford distributor sucks. You can do alot more with something like a MSD. With that being said, I wouldn't worry about it much on a fairly stock engine.

My truck has an all MSD ignition, but it's also got lots of compression, carb, cam, heads, ect... and needed it.
