ford superdutys

does anyone know when they are going to redesign the superdutys i have heard they will be in 2006

[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]this is a cool ford site. you want dumb, go to $$$$$$$$. there are some real dozzies over there. just because you ask a question, doesnt mean someone knows the answer. since the F150 is the star of the ford truck line, and the superduty is the workhorse, the 150 gets what it needs to keep sales strong. the superduty is due for a freshening, but i dont know when. try asking the ford designers when they are planning to restyle the SD.

BTW for the rest of my fellow FM members. There is to be a minor update for 05. New Grille, headlamps, and a beefy looking bumper. Interior is upgraded and improved with the addition of a couple of NEAT new options to keep the truck strong up through the 2007 redesign.

As for engine changes, I do know both Gas engines are supposedly going to 3V and last I heard, they were getting the Torqshift 5-speed auto. As for the Diesel, I have not heard anything in specific, but the from what I have heard, all three powerplants are supposed to be improved in comparison to previous models.

I can not say with certainty, but I would imagine with Dodge uping the torque on the Ram Cummin's Diesel to 600 Lb. Ft., I would expect Ford will probably get as close to that as they can without sacrificing quality/reliability, but I've heard nothing yet as to what to expect from the 05 Diesel.
