i need big time help doing the brakes on my 74 F100
I just did the front disk brakes on my 74 F100, but i couldnt get the pads to fit in, the clip wouldnt fit in with it. (new clips and brakes) so i just put them together without the clips. The truck doesnt stop real good, do i need those clips, and how do i put them in?

i need big time help doing the brakes on my 74 F100
IT WILL LIVE WITHOUT THE CLIPS, BUT IT WILL BEAT ON THE CALIPER MOUNT AND MAKE A CLATTER SOUND IF YOU ARENT ON THE BRAKES. THE CLIPS KIND OF WRAP AROUND THE THE END OF THE PAD, TRY CLEANING RUST OUT OF THE SLOT, THAT MAY HELP
