pick up coil

I have a 79 F 350 w/460 ,problem is the last week I have had to replace the igntion module three times. what would cause this? wiring is in good shape ,not gdounding out. could the distributor be the cause of it? Need some help.

pick up coil

Check the wiring inside the dist. to make sure it's not grounding out when the vacuum advance operates.
