i just built one out of two for my boss, just rode her today, great ride. like new, its got a clutch, he wants auto, what/how to do?! thanks 390 2bbl

Very easy to swap parts on these old trucks. Easiest way in my book is to buy a donar truck that has everything on it that you want. If you get a 73-79 f150 you can use the disc brakes, power-steering, power-brakes, automatic trans. and the steering column. Only problem with the steering column in the wiring is different and the older column use a different braket to hold up the column. It's best if the donar truck has the smae engine in it so you can grab all the engine brakets from it also. I've done this on my truck and then parted the donar and still made a couple hundred after getting all my upgrades.
