2003 Explorer - Problem - Asking Ford Mechanics

I have a full size (7 passenger) V8 AWD 2003 Explorer and until recently it handled perfectly. I was always impressed by the way it held the road with limited body roll. Just this past weekend while driving on the expressway it seemed to dart when steered and there seems to be more body roll. It just doesn't handle the same. I brought it to the dealer and of course they say it seems fine to me. What could have gone out of adjustment? I was thinking maybe a sway bar mount loosened or something. Maybe it needs an alignment? It only has 7000+ miles on it.

Did the dealer actually check out the suspension on it?
I'm wondering if maybe a sway bar end link broke or something like that.
You dont happen to drive on bad roads where you get a lot of mud in the rims do you? I've seen a few now with the rear toe links worn out from mud in the rims rubbing on them.
Are your tire pressures ok?

I looked underneath yesterday and saw the drivers rear shock was covered in hydraulic fluid. They didn't even check the suspension. I'm supposed to go there today so they can look at it again. I've got the Sevice Director involved now so maybe something will be done. The tire pressures are set at 35 psi on all 4.

If you have a leaky shock, it's junk. I'd put a set of Reflex, or Gas-Magnums on it, you'll be amazed at how much better it rides.

Warranty should easily replace (with that low of miles), the PAIR of whatever end shocks/struts are leaking.
If there's fluid coming out, they're junk. I've seen probably a half dozen come in with that concern. (all under warranty). (bummer). ............(for me).
