converting 84 150 to 3/4 or 1 ton duallie

Hello...I am new here, but I was looking for suggestions ,and help. I recentally got my old 1984 F150 custom hartop convertable back from the kid I sold it to 2 years ago...and it's beat pretty bad...I redid the truck 7 years ago, from the ground up, and now want to go in a different direction.....I set the truck up with a hd suspension, and drivetrain, but it's a 302 aod combo, runs hard and mean, but I want to take and redo the entire truck again....this time, I want to take and turn my shortbox 2wd into a duallie.....still 2wd, but I was curious if anyone would know if I can bolt on a 2wd 3/4 ton front end? Can I swap spindles? Rear axle is another thing...I am just wondering if I would ultimately kill my engine and trans...I have a 72 400v8 and the matching c6, but I was hoping to keep the AOD. ANother issue would be of course sterring and brakes, but just looking for advice. I am also after a duallie box, I am going to have to take and cut it down some, but just trying to find a solid box not rotted out.
