intake

I have a '78 F-250, 460/auto. I have a set of DOVE heads,and comp 260 cam for it. Headers are planned, and I was wondering about an intake. I know the Performer intakes are wonderful, but I'm on a budget, so I've been looking on ebay. Been finding old Torker intakes. Bad idea, as far as killing the low rpm torque? Also saw a factory CJ intake. With some port matching, would this be good?

torker might work too with a 4 hole spacer. my self i would go with a Performer . but a stock one will work great too.
