I came across a great deal on an old jeep with a 360 in it. body is shot but running gear and motor is great. Is it possible to put the 360 in my 84 f-150? Its a great motor and i hate to pass it up if it will work.

With today's technology you can put any motor made by anyone in anything... You only need the correct transmission/adapter to put that motor in your truck. It is possible that there had not been one made yet to do it with, but anything is possible.....
I'm sure one of these FE guys out here has done something like this before.

Used to date a girl that was owner of 2400 acres of mixed wooded and pasture land. She had an old(er) 70's bronco that her (worthless, POS, sorry excuse....)father had transplanted a 440 slow-par into and they used it for just checking fences and herding/playing, at least til they discovered that a 4 wheeler was easier to use.

Sorry, I don't remember much about it...other than it would flat run and I can remember getting it stuck only once.

Does the Jeep have a complete drivetrain? Why not just swap the whole thing? Use the transmission and t-case (if yours is 4x4) too.

Yes it will fit with custom engine and trans mounts and relocating the trans crossmember.

Why go through so much trouble?
