Water in my headlight

The Bronco II I just got gets water in the headlight and I want to replace it. Everywhere I've checked it's not only the headlight but the intire assembly. Can I just buy the plastic housing?
Also still looking for owners manuals etc. What other years are the same? 88 in particular.

This is an all to common problem. I've corrected this by drilling a small hole in the base of the len's allowing the water to escape. I then will use a hair dryer to totally dry out the unit. It can then be resealed with a small amount of clear silicon.

HI
I'm not to farmilar with your Bronco but are you sure that your head light is a two piece?? I think you'll find that its a one piece glass unit.

hey 80351, you will find that on your bronco2, if it is a 89 or 90, you do have a plastic head light assembly, called composite. this is a common problem, as our company sells alot of these lights for your ride.

the only way to replace them with a new unit is the complete assembly, not just the outer lens, or the head light capsule.

the other models that use the SAME head light as yours is:
89-92 Ranger
91-94 Explorer
89-90 Bronco II

i can have you a new one in the box delivered for $50. let me know! itry not to post on here to sell, but i do have what your after.

thanks,
Steve
