Correct me if i\'m wrong

It's there a wire that has to be disconnected to set the inital timing on a 351 in 1990 Full Size Bronco. It runs like it is not timed correctly. No guts...and this is new engine.

Spout connector? If so remove it, set the timing at 10 degrees, hook it up.
