Gas gauge problem solved

I finally solved the problems with the fuel gauge.
Forgot about a valuable lesson learned a long time ago...
Never trust a sales person.
In the proccess of dropping the rear tank it felt a little light, but went a head to find qbout 3 gallons of gas in tank. Sender did work however float had a hole in it. And seeing as it was an as is unit opted not to fix the aux tank.
Thanx for all your help.
Dave
