Sorry about all the BrII questions

I apologize for all the questions about my Bronco but I have never had one of these before, With that said I have a few more...
1) I want to level it out so the rear is not lower, should I do a body lift or get bocks for the axle.
2) I think it probably has to go 2 1/2 to 3", how far can I go without having to use longer shocks.
3) One of the lifters is tapping are they adjustable individually?

Thanks for all the help in advance
Dave

dont worry about the questions and comments, that is why we are all here.

as for making your ride level, i have had a few of those rides, and i would suggest that you build up your leaf springs. you should not have to get longer shocks since your leafs are weak, and made the axel closer to your frame. so by adding a few leafs, this put your axel back close to where it came from.

a body lift would lift all over, and not fix your problem.

about the lifter......

How do I add the leaf?
What did you do to your frontend?
One of my front hubs broke yesterday and I have a chance to get locking hubs from a junker, is it worth it and if so how?

take your springs apart and add one,go with the manual hubs. With the auto hubs the front end is allways ingauged=less gas mileage

Went to pick and pay yard
yesterday but could only get Waren locking hubs. Can I just swop these out. Did notice they were put together differently than stockers. Did get all the parts minus axles. Have to do this today cause weather is going to get bad.

I don't like body lifts for alot of reasons, and liftblocks are OK on a showtruck, but suck everywhere else. You WILL get lots of wheelhop with those things, no way around it. You might could get away with a couple inches, but stay away from the mile high ones (I run factory blocks on my 78 4x4 with no real problems).

Are you trying to lift it for bigger tires, or trying to get the front end level with the back? Or (I'm assuming) the back is sagging?

Add-a-leafs are cool, but they'll give you a rougher ride. I'd go with rearched springs, or new factory replacements if you don't want to lift it.

At this time I really just want to get the rear end up level with the front or close and kinda getting low on bucks.

if your lucky you can reuse your U-bolts(i can hear it now),buy a new center bolt a little longer and add a leaf. Use the same leaf for both sides, like two main leafs.Dont use say one main and one shorter one
