cd changer install

I have a Sony 10 disc cd changer. it is a Ford aftermarket unit
It's pretty cool becuse it connects in line via the radio plugs.
My question is were do I install it? The instructions say UNDER the rear jump seat (I have a xtra cab) but it will not fit. Were do you xtra cab owners install yours ?

How big it it? I have quite a bit of room on my '94. Sounds tough, there's not a lot of options on a truck.

Can't you install it under the passanger side (front) seat? That's where mine is.

If its like the one I have you can adjust it to play vertically or horizontally so that can give you some more options. I had mine in a Nissan pickup and that is exactly where I put it.
It was a little tight but I figured nobody sat there anyway.
