Tail Lights Out

The Brake lights in my 97 ranger just decided to stop working... didn't notice till the nice officer decided to bring it to my attention. Anyway, checked the bulbs, they are fine, checked all the fuses, all good, bipassed the braked pedal switch, nothing. What could be causing this. I went through the wiring under the truck, didn't see anything. What is the curcuit for the brake lights, anyway to add power to it in order to be able to drive truck to a shop? thanks

Although I cant offer a suggestion on where to start looking, you can legally use handsignals to get your truck to a shop.

Yes you can! Forgot all bout that hand signal thing!
As for your taillights... go to the under hoos fuse box and check there. should be a little 20amp fuse there somewhere for them.

If you have a owners manual....look in it for the fuse pages...it will tell you where the fuse box is under the hood and which fuse it is. Good luck!!!
