1979 F100 Body patch panels

I was looking a the JC Witney catalog and they carry all the parts I would need to repair this truck I might buy anyone know if the panels arre decent? I know that all need "Massaging" but I would like to be close, or if anyone has a better recomendation thanks

From what I have heard, the sheet metal is a lighter guage, and doesnt hold up as well.

Bed sides are ok, but not perfect. I noticed mine were slightly wavy, not bad enough that anyone else has noticed, but I can see it. Don't bother with the aftermarket tail gates. I tried 3 and all were very thin, and 3/4" short (top to bottom).... go with dennis carpenters gate off original tooling. more money, but much better.

I can't say from personal experience about quality but you could consider Broncograveyard.com or LMC truck for new panels.

I have used LMC for a lot of body parts and they have all been good parts so far.
