Directions?

Greetings ... 'new here. I just picked up a '91 F350 w/460, C6 (E4OD?) 2WD SC w 4.10 LS rear for towing. (the 4.6 F150 wasn't cutting it - go figure). I'm told the 460 has gobs of power available if you can unleash it ... take the noose from around its neck, so to speak. I'm interested in increasing both efficiency and power (ie maximizing volumetric efficiency as best I can). I'm unfamiliar with this vintage and ford bb's in particular.

I'm thinking headers w/equalized duals, open up the fresh air side somehow, put a bit more zap in the ignition, perhaps a chip, and perhaps some transmission tuning (like old B&M transpack?).

I've lots of questions, but for now if you all could point me towards sources for this sorta thing specific to this vintage truck 460, I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, Uglyhat

Great site, this one is too, but the other is geared strictly at trucks.
