Asking Price on a 95\' F-150?

I am interested in buying a particular 95' F-150 from a co-worker. My problem is I don't know what to offer. Here is what I know about it. 1995 Ford F-150, reg cab short bed, stock Automatic w/hi-stall, rebuilt 302, TFS twisted wedge heads and intake, hookers, bigger injectors and pump, Vortech supercharger, blower cam from Anderson Ford, and FAST programmer. Body is also in excellent condition with approximately 50,000 miles and garage-kept. How much do you think its worth? Thanks.

hmm, well let's sort of take it from the ground up. If this were a 95 F150, stock, less than 75,000 miles, and in great shape, he could probably get $4000 - $4500. Now, with all the mods you have to start balancing the cost of the mods and the demand for that vehicle with those mods. In other words, a 90 Mustang LX 5.0L with those mods will have a higher demand than that truck, making those mods worth more.

So, bottom line, I probably wouldn't pay more than $6500 for the truck. Keep in mind that 95 Lightnings can be had for $4500-5500.

I wouldn't hesitate spending $6500 on that ride. Sounds like a kickass truck to me. The price can vary depending on your attachment as well.. have you seen it? Driven it? How much do you like it.. I get attached easily.

Well $6500 was less than I had in mind, so that's a relief. The owner is indifferent in regards to the sale of his truck, its not for sale officially but he said he could let it go at anytime. Thanks 67stang I hadn't considered it from that perspective before. I'll try consulting a few more sources and make him an offer. Thanks again.
