66 f100

my friend has a 66f100 and some dork put a toyota shifter and an fmx on it, so i am asking is the fmx the same as the c4 floor shifter? he cant use the column shifter due to a power steering upgrade, i am now going to look at this mess, but what can you all suggest for shifter that you dont have to reach far for? thanks hoping the guy didnt kut to much out of the floor

also he wants me to put the dual master on the brakes, should i just follow what i have on my 66 fairlane?(dual master)
