Lowering a 77 f250

What is involved in lowering my 77 F250? Any hints or tricks or easy way to give a better stance?

Lowering a 77 f250

Jumping it off a 20 footer would lower it considerably....

Is it a solid axle front end, or the I beam front end?

You have to get lowering I-beams usually drops 3" for the front. But on the back you can do a flip kit which puts the axle on top of the springs usually about 4-5" of drop for that but you will have to notch the fram so the axle doesn't bottom out on it, or you get a set of lowering shakles and hangers to drop it 4". If your not going to use it as a heavy duty truck anymore then you can put the lowering I-beams for a 1/2 ton truck. I-beams are usually around $400-500 for the set up and the rear is around $200 I believe. http://www.airbagit-store.com/product_list.asp?id=1855 here is a link to AIM. I hope you get it worked out.
