1969 F250 engine swap

I have a 69 F250 HD 4x4 that needs a new motor. Right now it has a 390 FE in it, and I am getting a 360/390 from a 73 F150.

However, my truck has an automatic tansmition and the donor truck has a manual transmition. So, here is the question, can I take the donor motor and replace the flywheel with the flywheel from my automatic truck? Or do I need to get things rebalanced?

Another option, I am getting the whole donor truck, so would it be easier just to replace my automatic trans with the manual trans?

Is there anything else that I may need to be aware of?

Just swap the wheels, no problem

For a high rpm racer you would need to disassemble and balance, but Ford didnt "balance" to the extent we do on a performance motor, you'll be well within tolerances
