Piping \'01 Ford Ranger 4.0

My friend has a '01 Ford Ranger and he is looking to pipe it. He isnt looking for a ricer sound, he wants more of a "big truck" sound. I know you wont get it to sound like a V8, but is there anyway to keep it from sounding like a rice burner?

If so, how would you go about doing that?

What would be the best? catback system? certain muffler to look for?

Cat back system for your application. I have had a Flowmaster system and a Stainless Gibson system. The Gibson is Definately better IMO. Magna flows sound great but a little expensive.

What does that sound like? It doenst have a ricer kinda sound does it? Does it sound something like a V8?
