Performance mods: K.&N. 77 series cold air intake, Supertruck true dual exhaust system with H pipe, Powerdyne powerplate throttle body spacer,Hypertech computer programmer/tuner, and on it goes.
The problem: Recently my truck has developed a driveability issue. (Under moderate acceleration Only) and at no other time, it has a annoying hesitation problem. I might add that on occasion after sitting several days when started the engine fires up and runs rough for 2-3 seconds and belches out a puff of black smoke and has a very strong fuel smell. It idles smoothly otherwise,has never stalled, and runs like a bat out of hell under hard acceleration. How about it, anybody have any idea's????? Txs in advance T.
