I see your running a 2000 stall converter in a 4x4. Ive heard mixed opinions about that. How do you like it and does the trans overheat???
I have a 347 c6 35" tires and 4.11 gears. I was thinking about a 2000 or so stall. Crusing on the freeway im at about 2700rpm's at speed.
Also you have the gear change in the c6. Is it worth it? Im looking for the most down low.
Thanks in advance.

2700rpm with 35's and 4.11 is 70 mph.....
The gear set is worth it in trucks with big tires all day long "mud"
The coverter in mine has a very small stall if any over stock.

Yeah 68-70 mph. Glad to hear about the gear set.
Still weary about putting anything over 2000 rpm stall converter in it.
Thanks for the reply.
