Help!! 1997 4.6L (8 bolt crank vs 6 bolt crank)

Have a 97 F150 4x4 w/manual trans. Original 4.6L (8 bolt crank) is toast, can I swap a 2000 PI 4.6L motor w/6 bolt crank and a new flywheel? What is the Windsor to Romeo difference? Flywheel dia or balance difference? Sensor difference? Motor mount difference? Is this a minor or major engine swap?
