1995 F-150 E40D

I HAVE A 1995 302 & E40D I WANT TO PUT IN MY 1968 RANGER . I PUT INTAKE AND CARB ON MOTOR . DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF TRANS WILL WORK WITH OUT ALL THE COMPUTER WIRING THANKS FOR ANY INFO. JASON

That trans is electronic, a computer would be required; same story with the AODE which is very similar to the E40D except for slightly different gear ratios and overall length. Go with an AOD, all the full size sedans used them and they should be readily available and cheap.

You can also use a controller for the E4OD from Bauman Engineering IIRC. Do a search and it may come up.

just installed the bauman unit.works great but you will need a throttle position sensor to make it work. hardest part was the set up and download of program. it will cost you though, 525.00 includes the harness.
