Rotating Intake manifold 180 degrees

I am planning on putting a GT-40 upper and lower intake manifold in my F150, because my intake box is on the drivers side that is the way i want my upper intake to face, just like a Ford Lightning. This should not be a problem correct? If anyone has done this or something similar I would love to see some pics and details on vacuum and throttle linkage rerouting.
Thanks

Re: Rotating Intake manifold 180 degrees

I'm considering doing the same with a 91 mustang 5.0. When I did a mock up with the intake on the engine stand, I ran into interference issues with the fuel pressure regulator (rear of pass side fuel rail) there would be very little room for the vacuum elbow and upper intake would have to be removed to replace or adjust the fpr. An intake spacer would help with this problem. Coolant lines would have to be routed to the driver's side for the egr adapter. (if used) My oil filler tube is on the front passenger v/c and hits the intake as well. I'll have to shorten or legthen the oil filler tube. The location of the fpr and filler tube may be different on your truck, this is just what I ran into on my motor.

The non H.O 5.0 in the fullsize cars has throttle pionting to drivers side. You may be able swap some parts with 'stang setup. 'nutcase
