I just purchased power windows and door locks for a 2006 f150 stx and I am wandering how others may have tackled running wires from the pillars into the doors since the boots are un-accessable due to the factory connectors blocking the paths. The cost of new harnesses is extreme.

I'm looking forward to how you resolve this, as I too have a 2006 STX and want to upgrade to power door locks! (Check the Project Car section for info on the truck.)

Post some pics of your STX, what else have you done to it?

I recommend leveling it if you havent already:
