Lower intake gasket - 90 F150.
I need a bit of help here. I've been into cars for quite a while but never delved to deep into wrenching. Mostly because I was worried about screwing stuff up. But I gotta learn sometime and my lower intake manifold is leaking at the front all down the block. I've verified that it's in fact the manifold and everything, I just have a couple questions.
I'm assuming I'll have to disconnect the fuel rail to take the manifold off - does the pressure bleed off over time or am I likely going to get fuel everywhere?
I should use RTV as opposed to the rubber ends where the manifold meets the lifter valley, right?
Hmmm, any other tips would be great. Thanks guys.
