I have a 2003 F-150 FX4 Lariet edition and would like any inputs of how to get more power out of this pig? Thanks , Jim

Re: 5.4 Power Help

Are you still going to use this as a truck mainly (towwing/hauling) or do you just want raw power? Depending on what you want, cleaned up/fully ported heads, mild-aggresive cams (4.6 wise), and maybe some headers. The 3V 5.4 as is is a pretty good truck engine so there isn't too much one can do w/ it w/o pushing the torque curve further to the right (unless you just want power than there's almost no limit).
