need help with my project!!!

another year goes by with problems with my 72 one ton project. I have got truck to the point of putting in paint shop. I took my 460 c6 and installed into the truck last week, this engine only has about 300 miles on it but its about 5years old. on start up it sounded bad,come to find out its dry bearings and needs to be tore down to find out exactly whats wrong. I went to friends house to day and bought a good running 6.9 diesel with 4 speed. I would like to have the mind blowing power that my 460 had but it going to cost more money to fix engine plus the thought of $3gallon of gas at 8miles a gallon realy is pushing me to the diesel. MY question is will my c6 bolt up to the diesel and will this swap be a major wiring problem? any body out there did a swap like this, and what issues you might have had. thanks greg
