1983 351 truck flywheel on 88 302 roller motor

I used the same flywheel off of my 351 on this late model 302 injected motor which I put a carb on. I am wondering about my tech advice as it has a shake/vibration to it between 600 and 1500 rpm. I have cycled through every vacuum and ignition possibility (I wont list all but I am experienced in basic induction and ignition stuff). I am left pondering if I need to change balancer and or flywheel. HELP! This truck is so close to being right and it sounds great. It just has a vibration at low speed like a counterweight issue.
Basically I took the 351 out of my 83 F250 and had a deal on this 88ish 302 injected motor out of a Crown Vic. Yes, Im wishing I would have just rebuilt the 351 but....oh well.

Well from reading all the posts it looks like I need the 50 oz flywheel from the newer motor to get this engine silky.

Correct.

TECH NOTE;

Quote:
Small block reciprocating assemblies have some balance. The compact lightweight crankshaft itself does not carry enough counterweights to achieve zero balance. Extra counterweight is cast into the flywheel and harmonic balancer bringing the entire assembly into neutral balance. Early engines use 28.2 oz.-in. external balance, while 1982 and later engines use 50 oz.-in. flywheel and 34 oz.-in. damper external balance. All 351W engines use the early style 28.2 oz.-in. external balance.
