Re: Fuel leak!!

I'll buy that bad fuel pump diagnosis. Here's why..
This truck runs great on the back tank when it's cold or hot. On the front tank it runs like crap especially when it's cold. When I kick it down into passing gear on the front tank, it just bogs like it's starving for fuel. On the rear tank it'll pass just about anything but a gas station!!
Any suggestions on where to buy a fuel pump?
Thanx, Mike

Re: Fuel leak!!

How can the fuel pump pull good from one tank and not the other?? Might have a cloged fuel line from the front tank or the switching valve is bad.
The reason I say tank swelling the fuel earler is my dad had a F250 with duel tanks one behind the seat tank one lower tank.. and if he over fuled it. It would heat the fuel in the direct sun light and leak. There would be no way the back tank could add fuel to the front tank as it was under the truck and from what I know liquid don't run up hill with out a push...

Re: Fuel leak!!

Each tank has it's own pump.
