Lightning frame vs regular

I was wondering if there was a difference in the early 90s Lightning frame and rear suspension vs the frame and suspension from an 81 F100. The reason I ask is for the use of LFP 58" traction bars on my 81 F100. If there are any Lightning owners out there please respond. Thanks

Re: Lightning frame vs regular

I have a 1984 F150 and I contacted lakewood with the same Question they told me that that had not tested their bars on anything in those years, but according to LMC the rear suspention is the same from1980-1996 so I am going to give it a try
