Carberator idles at start, then won't stay running until engine is hot. Ideas?
I have a 1968 Ford F250 with 360 cu. in. bored .30 with 8.5 to one pistons, edelbrock CJ alum. heads, high rise dual plane intake, 1 7/8 in headers, edelbrock cam to go with the top end kit (lift around .590) running a rebuilt 750 duel line, vac. choke, with 2 inch torq spacer between the carb and intake. I can't get the car to idle no matter where I set the chock, until the engine is fully hot 180 degrees. I have tried various adjustments to the primaries, idle screws, even turned up the idle, but that's 2,000 RPM before it will stay running without tapping the pedal. Any ideas on what to check next?
