1979 F150 or F250-differences?

I once swaped out a 300 for a 460 in an old F250 and just for giggles took it out back before pulling the motor and put a brick on the gas pedal. This thing would not die. After about 7 minutes of revving I got tired of the noise an shut it down. Pulled it out and sold it for $300.00. I think the guy is still driving around on that 300. I never did tell him what I did to it.

I have been teeter tottering about this but the rust on it just was to much, and I think he sold it. Thanks for the input though.
