1972 Gran Torino Brougham 351 CJ 4V

Canadian Torino, built in Cleveland Ohio.
Stay tuned for VIN# (in the garage )

1972 Gran Torino (built in 03-72) - 63,000 original miles
351 Code "Q" Cobra Jet 4V (fully rebuilt - 2003)
- Edelbrock performer 750cfm 4V
- Edelbrock performer 4V alum. intake
- Crane Cams dual grind (aggressive)
- MSD 6A w/ electronic ignition upgrade
- Hooker 4V Headers
- dual Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow with H - pipe (full 2.5")
- Air Conditioning (out for the time being)
C6 transmission
- stage II shift kit
- Hurst Quarter stick
- TCI 3000 rpm stall converter

9" differential
- Richmond Gear Powertrax Lock-Rite locker
- 3.25 factory ratio (replaced with new gearing in 2002)

'Brougham' interior
- intermittent wipers
- rear defrost
- 6-way power front bench
- Power windows
- Convenience group (headlight buzzer, ignition buzzer, seatbelt and interior lighting)
- dual map lights
- Blue vinyl-cloth comfort weave
- reupholstered seats and dash
- 'B+' rating interior components (was a daily driver for a while)

Exterior
- Sport hood (hood scoops)
- repainted in 1999. Base/clear - Dodge Viper GTS blue
- black vinyl roof (mint)
- American Racing Torq-Thrust II 15"
- Tires are three years old with less than 3000kms on them
- Dual stainless steel tips (square-oval)
- new bumpers rechromed (show chrome)

Interior has minor wear & tear. Very small rip in headliner. Exterior has a couple rock chips. Very small rust bubble forming on rear quarter.

Rides great. New coilover shocks for rear, and heavy duty springs for front. Needs brake booster, and maybe new pads in the front. Always meticously maintained, synthethic oils.

Windshield is 100%. Intermittent wiper and switches are new. power windows work fine, comes with OEM extra motors (4). Power seat works in
dall 6 directions, although motor seems to be straining while going forward. Might need a new power seat motor.

New quarter stick from Hurst installed 2004. Slap shifter is fun to use. Works well with the stage II B&M shift kit.

Exhaust sounds mean and throaty, but not too loud.

Pictures of the interior to follow.

Car is located in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. I will post interior pics by request, as it's stored and I would have to get her out in the open.

Also, can't really go by that market value website. Doesn't have the option to add power seats, or AC, or other stuff. I really don't know what to sell this car for.

Throw me an offer.

Good looking car, I have a 72 Gran Torino fastback Q code I’m restoring but having a hard time finding headers that will fit the 351c 4V and C6 trans. Do you know the model # of your headers?
