69 LTD, 390 2bbl, A/C - Nice - for sale so I can quit sleeping on the couch

2 Door 1969 Ford Galaxie LTD with a 390 V8 (2 barrel) and a C6 automatic recent repaint in the original color Aqua Mist Metallic with Factory air

Everything works on this car and could be driven to California tomorrow morning

but, I am tired of sleeping on the couch

so it is for sale

I was seriously considering quitting my full time safe money gig

you know the one with benefits and a retirement plan

and I love the job too

so the Week before Thanksgiving I tell my lovely bride we need to tighten the belt around here

get smarter about money, because it may be time for a change

then I get a call about a car I have had my eye on for a while

The LTD

interior is light blue and fronts seats need recovered because they are original fabric, and screwed up, overall interior is in decent shape but front drivers bench seat needs to be recovered - badly, it looks like hell

This car is scary clean for a 1969

Still has the original finish inside the trunk and the original undercoating on the car - paint was reshot, but I do not know when, but look very fresh

has a nicely installed stereo without screwing up any original parts

I also have a 1969 brochure and a an owners manual for the car

unless you have something cool enough to trade

that I could go another month on the couch

especially cool motorcycles

cause even she is mad for a month

in 32 days she'll be over it

and I'll still have another motorcycle

or car

plus I am not going to quit my job anymore, so I got that going for me

anyway

I agree.... That car is worth well over that asking price. I would put it up on eBay with a reserve because even if it doesn't sell it won't cost you that much, and you'll have a better chance of catching someone's eye on there....

get a better couch!! don't get rid of that, is gorgous
